Message I mean, you don't see me standing here making fun of Konigs or coming down on him for it, do you? No...that's Jack. So my point was exactly what you said but you went into more detail. By saying he should understand that some people don't need that sound for the cost, it's also true with the rims in reverse...I *did* want the lighter, more durable rims and I can understand why he bought his. But you wont see me yell over to him that his rims belong on a Honda. What got me was the comparison. To roughly use your example I consider B&B = HRE/Fikse, Greddy/Apexi/Stillen = Volk/Oz/SSR and Dynomax = Konig.

Is this a bad thing? No, like you said it's based on what people find important or not. But if you put some nice Decoltes next to HREs, you wouldn't necessarily call the SSRs crap. That is, unless you pull out the "subjective" word again because of course ANYTHING is possible ;)

: Where you love your wheels that you think look better than his Konigs, they also cost at least twice as much. His wheels are doing the job for him and he likes the looks and performance that they give him. To an uneducated person a Greddy SP may sound good and not like a rice rocket, but someone that has heard a B&B right next to it knows the B&B sounds much better. Again...subjective.

Totally, and still not even close to worth it for me. If I get a new TT, I still wont get B&B. I've heard at least 4 different cars with them and they do sound tight, but it's not an area I care about too much. You can bet your 4 TT's I wont be getting a 5" tip again though!

: I think you will agree that a B&B Quad Oval looks a lot better than a Greddy SP.....if not you don't live in reality, the build quality is far superior as is the sound.

Totally better! I'm a lover of quad exhausts and used to have it until I hit that dead animal. I only got Greddy because I stole it at the price I paid and sound didn't matter to me much. I got over the looks because of my rear fascia...without it, no way. Though others love the look...to each their own.

: I think the two exhausts are two different levels, just like your wheels. I think your wheels look better and are probably built better and of higher quality, they also cost twice as much. I'm sure he has had people tell him his wheels look great.

I agree here as well...except I've had tuners and educated people tell me my car sounded awesome ;) You've seen the gutted videos...don't even tell me it doesn't sound good! hehe

: Everyone likes different things, everyone thinks their thing is the best....different strokes for different folks...but I agree with Tony....B&B rules :)

Funny how I agree too lol. That is, when it comes to the root question of the post. B&B is the best. I just wanted to make it clear that the second best isn't necessarily "crap" as Tony's message infers.

What were we talking about again? lol
